Key challenges for CDOs in 2023: recruitment, data management and scaling up

While most organisations have now realised that data is a strategic asset, it remains a challenge for them to exploit it, and in particular for their CDOs. The study analyses the main challenges that CDOs will face in 2023. These challenges include recruitment, data quality and the scaling up of AI-enabled data uses-cases.

Data quality: a crucial issue for CDOs

According to the survey, 80% of CDOs surveyed consider data quality to be a major issue. Although governance projects are underway in companies, the generalisation of governance remains a challenge to be met in order to fully exploit the potential of data.
