Case studies
We supported the client in initiating a profound transformation, using the definition of a new corporate purpose as an opportunity to overhaul their overall positioning and organizational structure.
Approach
The process began with an exploration phase to understand the forces shaping the group’s business and its differentiating factors. This was followed by a convergence phase to construct the corporate purpose. Finally, a projection phase was carried out to prepare for its deployment both internally and externally.
Result
A clearly articulated corporate purpose with a desired and projected future over a 20-year horizon. Four foresight scenarios and thirteen major trends were identified. An audit of the group’s intangible assets and managerial culture was conducted. Content was created for two seminar workshops, along with a brand deployment plan and a full communication kit (manifesto, video, print and web visuals).
We supported the client in their transformation into a climate tech company by enhancing operational efficiency and exploring new diversification opportunities.
Approach
The exploration phase involved analyzing pain points and identifying opportunity areas. In the convergence phase, we identified and prioritized technological performance levers and qualified key opportunity spaces. During the structuring phase, we defined a transformation roadmap and developed two business scenarios that were feasible, desirable, and viable.
Result
A comprehensive file was delivered, containing the transformation roadmap and a set of prioritized operational use cases. Eight opportunity areas were qualified. An investment file was also produced, including two complete business scenarios and a list of relevant stakeholders.
We supported the client in reimagining logistics as a key function for powering cities, in response to emerging technologies, new modes of transportation, and growing environmental and societal pressures.
Approach
We began with an analysis of the existing logistics landscape and conducted interviews with international experts. We mapped change drivers, trends, and inspiring initiatives. A community of 50 experts—urban planners, logistics professionals, public officials—was mobilized to create a diverse set of disruptive scenarios. Within those scenarios, we identified opportunities, services, and activities to be developed by the private sector, the public sector, or in partnership.
Result
The project team was trained in Design Thinking and prospective design methodologies, with methodological toolkits delivered for ongoing use. Six tangible concept projects were identified and further developed to encourage experimentation, testing, and dialogue within cities and territories.
