Supporting Companies Fighting Climate Change with Team for the Planet
In 2023, Onepoint became a major shareholder in Team for the Planet®, the first open-to-all, non-profit investment fund dedicated to combating climate change, by investing €1 million as part of a 5-year partnership. The goal is to support the creation of 100 companies worldwide that are actively fighting global warming. This commitment broadens Onepoint’s scope of environmental action and contributes to accelerating the ecological transition of economic players.
Commitment to the Business Convention for the Climate to Advance Our Ecological Transition
The Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC) brings together entrepreneurs and business leaders from all sectors. Its mission is to involve the entire economic sphere in an ecological transition aligned with the challenges identified by the scientific community. The CEC aims to position economic leaders at the heart of this transition to accelerate the shift from an extractive economy to a regenerative one by 2030, for the benefit of all.
Onepoint has joined CEC Consulting, CEC Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and CEC Provence-Méditerranée to actively shape our roadmap and initiatives around this essential issue.
- In 2023, we committed to defining a short-term trajectory (by 2030) to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions across the company, in line with the latest climate science through the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The SBTi is a global body that enables businesses to set ambitious targets to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, in alignment with climate science and the goals of the Paris Agreement. Its mission is to accelerate global business action to halve emissions by 2030 and reach net-zero by 2050.
- We carry out a comprehensive assessment of our greenhouse gas emissions across the entire group (Scopes 1, 2, and 3), following the ADEME’s Bilan Carbone methodology, which is aligned with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 standards.
- To address the challenge of climate change, we are collectively and sustainably transforming our habits and behaviors to consume less—and consume better. We are highly attentive to this issue and ensure energy is used as efficiently as possible. A volunteer group called Onegreen allows teams to get involved in various environmental initiatives and to organize events and awareness-raising activities around these topics.
We implement concrete actions to protect the environment and combat climate change by integrating sustainable practices across all our operations and supporting our clients in their own ecological initiatives.
RESET Scorecard
The RESET Scorecard is a strategic tool designed to bring our RESET ambitions to life within our client engagements. Using a shared self-assessment framework, this tool encourages us to rethink how we deliver projects in order to maximize their positive impact—while creating new spaces for dialogue and setting us apart from the competition.
It is based on a semi-quantitative assessment of the five RESET pillars (Economic, Social, Environmental, and Technological Responsibility), represented through a radar chart. Each pillar is explored through three thematic areas, which in turn are composed of several criteria. In total, around forty criteria are used to evaluate projects from a 360° perspective—covering aspects such as stakeholder relationship quality, product and service lifecycle, business model sustainability, and health and well-being at work.
