Olga, an agri-food company, decides to harmonize and secure its information system
Onepoint, a partner since 2003, supports Olga as project management assistance in the modernization of its information system.
Olga, formerly known as Triballat Noyal, is a French family-owned company in the agri-food industry. It owns well-known brands such as Vrai and Sojasun, as well as cheese brands Petit Billy, Merzer, and Petit Breton. Today, the group employs 1,350 people across eighteen production sites in France, supplied by 330 producers.
Modernizing the Information System to Support the Group’s Growth
The GINKGO ERP project aims to equip OLGA with the tools to face today’s and tomorrow’s challenges through better control of its information flows. It enables responsible and informed management of the company’s various activities, including:
- Raw material cost control
- Industrial cost price monitoring
- Computerized traceability of components
- Securing procurement processes
For the IT department, the project is also a major step toward harmonizing and securing the information system—particularly by phasing out legacy AS400 applications, which are increasingly difficult to maintain and evolve.
To structure the ERP project, Olga selected the Infor Cloudsuite Food & Beverage solution.
The priority was to design a core model, define a deployment roadmap for business lines and logistics/industrial sites, and engage internal teams.
In addition to the integration team responsible for configuring and deploying the ERP, Olga sought project management assistance to help steer the initiative and support operational teams throughout the transition.
Over the years, Onepoint has provided the expertise we needed to support us across a wide range of areas: project management, ERP knowledge, and business expertise in production and supply chain functions.
Onepoint and Olga have been partners since 2003. They have worked together on supply chain master plans and information systems, both in terms of IT department organization and system evolution programs.
Onepoint took charge of project management alongside CIO Pierre Galeron, while also coaching part of the internal teams through key responsibilities:
- Promoting the ERP project internally and fostering deployment momentum
- Preparing and facilitating steering committees
- Monitoring workstreams, actions, and deliverables
- Coordinating Olga’s teams and the ERP integrator
- Transitioning from project mode to deployment mode
Additionally, Onepoint supported change management for Olga’s largest factory by:
- Defining target processes and operational models
- Supporting the implementation of organizational adjustments (such as new scheduling rituals and stock inventory methods)
- Planning training sessions
- Assisting teams during the first weeks of go-live operations
The closeness of the teams and Onepoint’s ability to address a wide range of topics make them a trusted partner.
A new ERP system operational across all sites
Together, the teams from Olga, the integrator, and Onepoint supported the rollout of the ERP across business units and factories. This project enabled the deployment of a sustainable tool, along with processes and operating methods that bring greater operational efficiency to support the group’s development.
Currently, the final deployment of the Infor Cloudsuite Food & Beverage suite is underway at the “La Rivière” factory. The new solution is expected to be fully operational across all sites by 2025.
