Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is subject to a regulatory framework developed by the European Union, which is being gradually implemented and is far more restrictive than previous obligations (Taxonomy: 2022, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) 2024, replacing the Non-Financial Performance Declaration (DPEF)). This new regulation, which extensively covers environmental, social, and governance issues, now applies or will soon apply to over 50,000 European companies (companies meeting two of the following three criteria: +250 employees, +€40M in revenue, +€20M in total balance sheet).
The challenges posed by the implementation of these regulations impact the entire operational model (governance, organization, processes, and information systems) of companies, as the law requires closely aligning “business” issues with non-financial impacts, risks, and opportunities. This includes the obligation to explain how these are integrated into the company’s strategy, define, monitor, and measure the actions to be taken, and broadly assess their financial impact. Additionally, the regulations mandate reporting performance using standardized indicators (European Sustainability Reporting Standards – ESRS), promoting control and comparison between companies.
In this context of paradigm shift and deep transformation of the affected companies, kShuttle and Onepoint combine their expertise and know-how to offer their clients comprehensive, tool-enabled support: mastering regulations (Taxonomy, CSRD…), redesigning organizational and operational models, urbanization and integration of information systems, and managing projects for implementing application solutions…
