Onepoint Joins the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC) Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
The ecological transition has become a vital issue for our planet. In this crucial effort, businesses play an essential role in contributing to a more environmentally respectful economy. It is in this context that we are proud to announce Onepoint’s integration into the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC) Nouvelle-Aquitaine, alongside our participation in the CEC Consulting in Paris. This initiative is part of our deep commitment to the ecological transition and the fight against climate change.
Engaging Economic Stakeholders
The CEC (Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat) is an organization that brings together entrepreneurs and economic leaders from all sectors. Its goal is clear: to engage all economic stakeholders in an ecological transition that aligns with the challenges identified by the scientific community. The CEC aims to place economic leaders at the heart of this transition to accelerate the shift from an extractive economy to a regenerative economy by 2030, for the benefit of the entire population.
The CEC is a non-profit association, recognized for its public interest, and operates independently from political, union, and economic organizations. The CEC team works closely with participants to plan work sessions, structure debates, support participants, and provide the necessary resources, especially through the involvement of scientists, ecological transition experts, coaches, and facilitators.
The experience of the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat shows that the training has allowed leaders—many of whom were initially unfamiliar with the challenges of ecological transition—to become particularly ambitious for both the economy and their own companies.
In Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the mission of the CEC is to mobilize 60 organizations from across the region, of all sizes and sectors, to act quickly and concretely in response to the ecological emergency. Its ambition is to co-create a new economic model that respects life and implement it through operational roadmaps and concrete projects. The program consists of a 10-month course spread over 8 days, combining hands-on experience with collective efforts, supported by transition experts, key witnesses, and prominent regional actors.
A Strong Commitment to Ecological Transition
As a member of the CEC, we share the ambitions of this initiative and are committed to collaborating with goodwill, mobilizing the company to transform its model, publicly sharing an ecological roadmap, and participating in cooperative projects.
We will take part in a 10-month course during which we will develop our roadmap to align our strategy and operational model with planetary boundaries. These roadmaps will be published to inspire other companies to embark on a similar transition and advocate for effective economic transition policies.
Joining the CEC Nouvelle-Aquitaine is a crucial step for Onepoint in its quest for transformation and commitment to ecological transition. It’s another step towards a more sustainable future, respectful of our planet, economy, and society.
With the course scheduled for the coming months, we will gain a deeper understanding of the ecological challenges and their impact on the territory and our company. We will have the opportunity to co-create new economic models compatible with planetary boundaries, join a collective of local leaders who are committed and determined, and spark a wave of ecological redirection in our region.
