Case studies
The goal was to co-design the agile transformation journey with the IT Executive Committee, shaping a “Soft Disruption” approach tailored to the company’s specific context and the maturity level of its teams. The transformation was initiated within the IT department by launching the first seasons of implementation.
Solution
The transformation was driven from the heart of the organization by actively engaging all employees. Change was enabled through hands-on support from agile coaches, offering both operational guidance and structured learning. The approach was participative and iterative, building on feedback and shared experiences to reinforce learning and adaptation.
Result
A “Soft Disruption” approach was successfully launched to enable a sustainable transformation. The organization and its teams began a continuous learning process focused on self-awareness and agility. The first steps of the Agile Transformation were shared across the wider organization, laying the groundwork for broader adoption.
The objective was to engage 800 employees in the IT department in adopting an agile mindset and to introduce a self-organization method that would reimagine business units as fast, functional, and decentralized core teams.
Solution
A coaching-based approach was adopted to enhance the skills of the teams. Weekly “5 to 7” meetings were held to ensure the transformation did not slow down ongoing operations, complemented by seminars to promote knowledge sharing and discussion.
Result
The initiative led to the creation of 16 self-organized and decentralized core teams. A bottom-up approach was established, resulting in increased engagement and commitment. The teams gained greater autonomy and skill development through continuous support from agile coaches.
